Earlier this year my husband and I spent a wonderful week in Juneau Alaska. It was different due to the stupid pandemic, but so peaceful without the huge ships which usually make port in the capitol city. Since Juneau has no accessible roads to other parts of Alaska, people usually travel by boats/ships, planes, and helicopters. Below are some of the pictures of some of these we saw during our visit.

A Visit to the Japanese Garden, Santiago, Chile
DrFumblefinger visits the Japanese Garden in Santiago, Chile. The garden is a peaceful and lovely and offers spectacular views of the city’s downtown skyline.
Not to be forgotten are the snowmachines and dog mushers in the wintertime.
