A beautiful monastery. Visited many times on our road trips from Augsburg to Garmisch and beyond. I never could drive by without stopping. One of my snowy day photos.

Luxembourg American Cemetery photos from our trip there with General Patton marker. Snowed so hard in the city we had to pop an umbrella from the car. Upon leaving the city a local driver ran a stop sign and hit our new Volvo which dampened the trip even more than the heavy snow.

In front of the pretty central-Brussels church of Notre Dame du Sablon is the shaded and beautifully laid-out garden of 'Petit Sablon'. The centrepiece of the garden is a gently sprinkling fountain in the centre of which is a large statue.

The pretty church of Notre Dame du Sablon was built between the 15th and 16th centuries on a plot of land between two squares in central Brussels - named 'Grande' and 'Petite' Sablons. It is particulaly noted for its beautiful stained glass windows.
