Vehicle collisions with animals kill more people than dog, snake and bee bites combined. And while the photo you use shows an animal that weighs about 1000 pounds, that animal is a moose. It's hugely embarrassing to my German friends, and a farce of incompetence. What kind of architects and engineers are designing this place????? Correspondence school graduates? Perhaps the should just bull-doze the place and start over again. Might be quicker that way.

I would not want to approach a bull elephant in my car, but having done several safaris, the animals all but ignore you in the Range Rover vehicles. Apparently they only see a box on wheels. They do not have the ability to discriminate what's inside the box. But if you step out of the vehicle onto the ground, they will become aware of you and you now are on today's menu. The best travel experiences of my life were the days I've been on safari. It's not cheap, but is most memorable. So...

My first experience of a "Spanish" style market was in Menorca. A small island off the east coast of Spain. The Island of soldiers and cows the locals called it. We had our kids with us as we went around the market square calling at each of the butchers shops. None had steak for sale - but would have plenty at 3pm ! So we returned at 2:45pm.
