Another unusual practice that came as quite a shock. Not one that you or I will suffer I think Mac. My daughter has long natural blonde hair. And every male in the market wanted to stroke it. I told them a firm NO ... but they insisted. And the line to touch her increased. So our day in the market was cut short.

Garry -- that's like saying stay at home with the kids and play in their kiddy pool instead of taking them to see the ocean. It was a hard but most fascinating trip. Standing on the roof of Africa, watching the sun rise above the clouds (which are thousands of feet below you) is an experience I'll never forget! But having done it once, I'm not going back anytime soon.

I think because planes are a confined space ,people might be worried ,especially because some airports are taking certain actions. It makes sense that the air is not a problem, but touching things and then touching your face is easy to do on a long flight . I know I inadvertently touch my face while sleeping. Good advice the Doctor gave about using hand sanitizer in public places anyhow. I try to use that on planes,buses,libraries etc.

I hope this effort is a real and continuing one and that other companies follow. Carrying everything onto the plane, to my way of thinking, is like any trend where if enough people say it's a good idea, even when it's not, hoards fall right into step, like lemmings.
