Hurricane Joaquin crossed the Atlantic and got split in two by the jet stream. France got trapped in the middle of the two. Allowing cold air from Siberia to blow across northern Europe. So the Geese have arrived here on the wind too. 3 Weeks too early. Its what the remnants of Hurricanes do.

It's good to see the California drought may be coming to an end. Even in the UK - where we get more than our fair share of rain- we get droughts. The 9 month drought of '76 gave us ground levels sinking and causing damage to buildings. Now the ground levels are sinking in California. The worst drought you've had since 1894.

History tells us that the first English settlers in North America would not have survived the first winter without food from the indigenous tribes. The winters in England and Europe are warmer than what was waiting for them in Newfoundland. There is a weather history from about the year 1150. Ethiopia was always on the TV News as millions were starving - and died. Their drought continued for many years. But thanks to "climate change" the rains returned and Ethiopia is now self sufficient in it's own food supply. It exports much of its produce to neighbouring countries too. Climate change isn't all bad news!

The Jet Stream is responsible for the California drought. The Polar Vortex you've been suffering from - and for the UK not having frosty weather since last November. English strawberries in Winter and de-icing salt being 15cents for a 10 kilo sack ! Its not yet April and I've cut the grass twice ! Blame it all on the Jet Stream.
