Re: Budget Deal Asks Air Passengers to Pay More

Travel Rob ·
I especially don't like it that they call it a fee- so members of Congress can keep their pledge not to raise taxes. The above Forbes link was good to compare it to the gas tax. This reminds me of a Simpson episode where Lisa( in Barts vision) is President. she is told to call a massive tax hike a refund adjustment.

Re: Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart

This display of beautiful cars is a modern day "Work of Art" They require no adornment by mannequins from the Kmart. I'd compare it to the Ad's we see at Bus Stops where some gorgeous model has had a Moustache added by some "Wag" with a Sharpie pen ! Or maybe adding some "Christmas Tinsel" to the Mona Lisa to improve her good looks ! "A place for everything - and everything in it's place!" (A Bimbo - over here - is a Lady with stunning looks - but lower than average IQ)

Just a short post-pubication note. Apparently the estate has the two airplanes for sale now. Not sure how this will impact visitation, but the Lisa Marie is especially interesting because of the thought and design Elvis put into its renovation.

I know just what you mean Ottoman ! How can an intelligent person look at huge model train layout and just say : "Ok - what does it do ?" Like casting pearls before swine ! Like getting your 15 seconds viewing the Mona Lisa and just taking photos. Like watching the Space Station pass across the sky like a huge sparkling jewel. "Yes - I know it's the same every time - but it's an amazing piece of..... doesn't matter.."
