Another fascinating look at a rarely visited place, Lester, thanks! I've heard that the Ethiopians send their bureaucrats to China for training. Any evidence of that in your visit?

Ethiopia was always on the TV News as millions were starving - and died. Their drought continued for many years. But thanks to "climate change" the rains returned and Ethiopia is now self sufficient in it's own food supply. It exports much of its produce to neighbouring countries too. Climate change isn't all bad news!

But will do in November) Ethiopia is one of the most stunning and rewarding countries I have ever traveled Cheers, Gilles

Neither did I, until I decided to travel to Ethiopia, and discovered the richness and diversity of this country. Now, Aksum is a well connected city, with a good infrastructure. Back in April 2011 (my first trip), it was way Off The Beaten Track !!! Cheers, Gilles
