I'm old enough to remember the Vegas Years, although was too young at the time to go see Elvis in Vegas. Fans always commented that Elvis was at his best in Vegas -- relaxed, chatty (talking to the crowd a lot), and despite it's large size, it was a fairly intimate performance venue with lots of direct audience contact. I think Scottsdale (and Tucson as well) are among the most underrated travel destinations in the USA. The weather in the winter is near perfect and it's such a unique and interesting place to visit. Your photos and blog reminded me that I need to head back there sometime soon. Thanks, Marilyn!

Looks like an amazing place to add to my list of "Must see" places next time I visit Philadelphia PA. Is 1 day enough to see it all or should I stay close by for 2 days ? Thanks for the insight and interesting photos Stephanie.

The 32-story, 1641-room hotel was originally constructed in 1986 as The Peabody Orlando. I remember well when all traffic stopped on International Drive to allow the Ducks the time to cross the street safely - then enter the Duck pond inside the Hotel.

Nudity is something you soon get used to in Europe. Anywhere there's changing rooms or at the seaside it's a common occurrence. After 2 days you don't notice anymore.
