Re: Merry Christmas from Knott's Berry Farm
Your post brought back many wonderful memories of past visits to Knott's. We also lived in California years ago (and have since moved away, as have so many) and made a point of visit Knott's every Holiday season because our kids enjoyed it so much. The place is busy, but not nearly as crowded as Disneyland and the admission much more reasonable (probably about half or even less). The park is wonderfully decorated and there were unexpected treats for the kids -- their first toboggan ride down...

Great story touching on many different aspects of the rural French environs of Saint-Félicien. I fondly remember picnics in the French countryside with my lovely wife and a repast of crusty baguette, local cheeses, fruit and wine. Ahhh !

Re: The Village of Crail, Scotland
Thanks for this excellent post. I lived in Crail for my second year at the University of St. Andrews. From your photos, it looks as pretty as I remember it from 50+ years ago, although the weather seems better than I recall, as most of the university year was during the winter. As you show, there's a lot more to St Andrews and the Fife coast than golf and the University.
