I liked your description of the Rubens exhibit that tied together his inspirational objects and sketches. Adds so much more to an art exhibit instead of just hanging a painting with the title. I also fell into the trap of not visiting Frankfurt when I only lived about 20 miles away for about six years. I did really enjoy the Frankfurt Zoo and their Christmas Market.

It's amazing how many interesting, and often small, local museums there are. It's too easy to only notice the big ones with the big names! Keep these coming!

Anyone who has traveled to Iceland wouldn't be surprised by this. It's a country of amazing rugged beauty, just made for cinema. And with Icelandair, it's quite easy to do get there now both from North America and Europe. I suggest people look at some of the scenery in the Golden Circle and South Iceland to understand what I mean by this.
