I'm personally acquainted with one of Brunel's railway bridges, the Gatehampton Bridge over the Thames in Berkshire, England. I was advised by my Thames Path guidebook that I was approaching it. Aha! This one had me because it looked so familiar, but I couldn't place. Yosemite, Sequoia, King National Parks? The fountain must have been turned off the day I was there 3 years ago, because I didn't notice it. Busy sipping tea in the lobby and on the verandah, watching children Easter egg hunt? We've been to The Cliffs of Moher twice and each time was most enjoyable. Walking along these cliffs is exhilarating and the views of the Atlantic Ocean are beautiful. Those photographs are wonderful, they're really giving me the itch to be there in person again. My visit to Banff and Lake Louise many years ago is one of my fondest travel memories. Hi, Yes, that is exactly the route we planned to get there, though the trip will actually begin in San Diego this time and be preceded by a trip up the U.S. west coast. But coming back, we are thinking of going to Calgary then dropping all the way down to Montana and Wyoming, and heading back to San Diego via Las Vegas, where we have family. Thanks Samantha. Some great shots with great memories. On my Tours of the US. I've spotted so many "Kodak Moments" that I should have a million more memories. I do wish the US had more stops for photo opportunities and Picnic Spots like the UK and in Europe. And all those covered bridges too. I have enough pictures in my mind to write a book. Just wish I could draw from memory.
