Re: Top 7 Travel Photography tips for Epic Photos
These are great tips. i would add one more - make up business cards. They can say blogger or photographer, but they help when approaching people you want to photograph. It also gives you a way to offer to send a copy of your photo to your subject.

Re: Top 7 Travel Photography tips for Epic Photos
Couple more hints. Write down where you are taking the photos or learn how to save GPS / Geotags to your photos. This is handy when time passes and you are trying to remember where you took the photo. Biggest tip is to have a powerful telescopic lens to get far away closeups. If you don't have a tripod, brace yourself on a sturdy object for those big zoom shots, otherwise they maybe blurry.

Re: The Albert Kahn Museum & Gardens, Paris
I wish there were a tag that went beyond 'like' so I could use it both for the Kahn photographs and yours, and for the blog. You've definitely put it on my list for next year, especially for the directness of some of the photos, some of which have a Lewis Hine-like connection with the subject. I have a tiny Albert Kahn connection in my background; our Paris apartment on one trip was just off Place Albert Kahn in the 18e, where three streets and Bd. Ornano intersect each other.

Re: Strolling in Siena
Thank you. I usually just take photos by hand at around 3200 iso, 1/30s and as low an f-stop as it will shoot. Then I use lightroom to adjust, and their denoise AI is wonderful.
