The debate in Florida too is which city is actually the nations oldest. St Augustine claims it is because it's the oldest continuously occupied city by European settlers. Some in Pensacola, claim their city is because they were settled before St. Augustine.

A friend & I once booked a week in a B&B in Ambleside. It was pouring rain when we arrived with no pause for several days & no hope in the forecast. So we gave up, returned to her home in the West Midlands to dry out. I see a bit of blue in some of your photos, proof it’s a possibility & I’d love to try again sometime. Thanks for the tour, just the sorts of places I love to see.
