I love this post. It poored the day I went to Sintra. All I saw was the National Palace, rain and fog. Thank you for all of these great pictures of places i would love to actually get to see when I go back Portugal.

Travel Luver: thanks! Your profile says Portugal is an upcoming trip for you.. are you going soon? Jonathan: Doesn't it suck when weather gets in the way of you fully enjoying a destination you've been looking forward to? We got lucky in Sintra, but it rained for 2 days straight in Porto when we were there.

Beautiful photos, thanks and a fascinating tour of the delights of Sintra. We went there in great haste by car and it just was not a good day so saw little of it's delights that you have shown us. Many thanks!
