Seabourn plans ‘Pole-to-Pole’ cruise

Seabourn, a cruise line known for luxury expedition voyages, is planning one that will include both the Arctic and Antarctic on a single itinerary.

The voyage includes stops in 14 countries and includes wildlife encounters and explorations in remote areas such as Ellesmere Island. Seabourn already cruises to most of the points on the list, but not on a single itinerary. Lasting 94 days and over 20,000 miles, it will sail in 2027.

Passengers will board the ship Seabourn Venture, seen above at Booth Island in Antarctica, in Greenland, after a charter flight from Iceland.
