Spotted on the Road ... 1950s Mercedes 220

Parked outside the local supermarket in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria - a six-cylinder W180. They were made between 1954 and 1959.

When I lived in Heidelberg (1959-61) two of our American neighbors had bought 220s. I was almost embarrassed when our 1958 Plymouth (yellow-and-white two-tone!) was parked near them.
