I was just looking again at the book in the picture, on the table, wondering what it was I was reading. I found it in my bookcase, 'Marrakesh: through writer's eyes'. Published in the UK by Eland, thought I recognized their distinctive binding. In case anyone else was wondering...

Off to Marrakesh on Saturday to start a travel photo course and then down to the southern towns over the mountains....

Mac, will you by any chance be going to Taroudant? I was there briefly years ago and am thinking of returning for a longer visit. Wherever you go, I'll look forward to your report and in particular, about your experiences in smaller places.

The visit was just 3 weeks ago, so mid-October, when the temperatures are pretty nice day and night (mind, the swimming pools get pretty cold....). It's more about the magic time of day GarryRF generally between 4 - 5 pm when the light is at it's best.
