At $39 a night, it looks like a bargain for Manhattan accommodations, but you have to be prepared to duck out to a nearby restaurant for Wi-Fi and toilets. And that's only one of the oddball accommodations available through Airbnb.
And lest you think it's a prank, it's not only been rented, but gotten some rave reviews. It's also gotten some pans from customers who decided to try their luck elsewhere after seeing it, and not caring for where it was parked.
