The Perrine Bridge spans the awe-inspiring Snake River Canyon on the northern edge of Twin Falls. The bridge is almost 500 feet above the Snake River, and extends 1500 feet across the canyon. It was constructed between 1973-1976 and is the main road into the city of Twin Falls.
The views down the Snake River Canyon (locally known as “Magic Valley”) are beautiful, as you can see in the photo below.
You can walk across the bridge if you want and take in the views. The Bridge is frequently used by BASE jumpers as their launching point. On a nice day your chances of seeing them glide down the canyon is excellent.
Located on the south side of the bridge is a parking area and the Twin Falls Visitor Center which provides convenient access to the canyon edge so that you can enjoy views of the bridge. It is here that you’ll find a statue of I.B. Perrine, a founder of Twin Falls and the man after whom the bridge is named.
