New York’s Finger Lakes district, which bills itself as “Four Seasons of Fun,” is putting the emphasis just now on the idea of Winter Romance, along with a host of other cold-weather activities including sports, spas and just plain time off.
It’s a pretty big region with a wide range of things to see and do—but the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance has, as the saying goes, an app for that. Available for iPhone and Android, it’s called, not surprisingly, Visit the Finger Lakes, NY.
The app has links to hundreds of attractions throughout the region from resorts to museums to college towns and shopping. In the app, you can plan a route and save it, make reservations, or, using GPS, let the app tell you what’s nearby.
