Nassau, New York was incorporated in 1806 as a farming community near the state capital of Albany. Several buildings along its main drag, Church Street (US20), date back close to that time. My favorite, above, is the one I call The Addams Family House. There is also a hardware store, and a house that has been repurposed as the Nassau Resource Center—a food pantry.
