The last memories of our trip to Murshidabad were of the soulful connection to our roots and the humble life of an Indian village, complete with banana orchards, a sturdy hand pump that is still used for drawing water from the bowels of the earth, a temple that speaks to nature as well as the human spirit, and the rich resources that contribute to trade, prosperity and the progress of civilization.

As my mother lovingly cradled a moulting silkworm in her palm, and we all excitedly took pictures of the same, we rekindled our promise to embark on more such family adventures, and thus this series comes to a close.
