While in Amarillo last month my husband and I visited Cadillac Ranch once again. However this time we also found this roadside attraction. It is a Muffler Man turned National Rifle Association spokesman. The purpose of this mega attraction is to of course spread a message, but is more or less there for curious travelers to have a photo op.
Not only is there the large cowboy, there are three Cadillacs jacked up in a visual reference to Cadillac Ranch, with mannequins resembling Elvis, John Wayne, and Willie Nelson at the wheel. It was snowing, so the pictures weren’t that great, but here are a couple we took. Hope to visit again on another trip.
