The last time I was in Vienna, this street musician had taken up residence opposite the Musikverein, or Music Association’s concert hall. When I came upon the picture recently, I couldn’t find any information on the jazzy panda. An email inquiry to the city’s tourism office produced an answer:
The “Sax Panda 2015” is made by an unknown artist as part of a street art project. It refers to the Musikverein and to its importance for Vienna.
