Following the advice from Gumbo’s DrFumblefinger, I stopped in Vegas for a few days while travelling to Mexico from the UK. An amazing place it is too! And very affordable. The Music and Fountain show in front of the Bellagio Resort has to the Best Free Show – ever !

Did you manage to pull yourself away from the casinos and showgirls and see some of the desert around the city?
It reminded me of a son et lumière show – seen in many old European Castles. Depicting Battles of the middle ages in Sound and Light. Once I’d seen the Bellagio I was addicted. Gambling and the assocaited glamour is common place in Europe. I did have a taste of the wide open spaces. Just like Scotland with a Sun Lamp !
