March 16, 2018: Winterings, Gunnerside Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire

The ubiquitous dry stone walls of the Yorkshire Dales are shown here at the winterings in Gunnerside Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire.  A lot of these walls were built my Lead Miners around the time of the enclosure act
