The stronger U.S. dollar versus European currencies (see previous Gumbo news items on the Euro) changes the picture a bit for U.S. travelers to the most expensive countries, and Norway’s Hurtigruten Voyages, which operates cruise ships along Norway’s coasts and fjords, is making a selling point of it.
Currently on their website, with a graphic (below) highlighting the currency situation, they’re offering packages including some with a 40% discount if you let them pick the cabin within the category you choose. More info
