It’s less than a week until Valentine’s Day, and if you haven’t made plans yet, you might consider popping off to Las Vegas for a wedding (or a repeat!)
The Clark County Clerk’s office is making it even easier than usual by opening a popup wedding license office at Harry Reid International Airport, just down the way from the slot machines, lounges and smoking area.
It’s become an annual tradition, and will be open until February 16. After that, you’ll need to head to the clerk’s office in town. The fee is $102 for a marriage license and $21 for a vow renewal. Applications can be filled out on line before arrival. 380 were issued from the popup last year.
Once the license is issued, the possibilities are nearly endless: Las Vegas has a drive-through chapel, Elvis-impersonator officiants and even weddings in a gondola at the Venetian resort.
