Many of Ireland’s most-popular tourist attractions will waive their entrance fees for the first-ever Ireland Tourism Day April 17, with over 100 top attractions taking part.
“Tourism Day is a chance for the public to explore a tourist attraction that they may not have visited before, or somewhere they would like to bring a friend or family member,” according to the CEO of the Irisih Tourism Industry Confederation, which has sponsored the event.
Among the free offerings are the Cliffs of Moher (usually up to €80), the Guinness Storehouse (€19.50) and Malahide Castle (€12.60). Pre-reservation for popular sites is available at tourismday.ie.
