Airbnb has teamed up with Oscar Meyer in an unusual promotion that will let those for whom it seems like a good idea rent a giant hot dog for the night.
In an announcement timed for National Hot Dog Day, Airbnb announced that one of Oscar Meyer’s six Wienermobiles will be available to rent and sleep in for $136 a night. Well, sort of available. Almost immediately after the announcement, all the August dates were snapped up. More dates will be announced on July 24.
In addition to the queen-sized bed, the Winermobile is equipped with wiener-themed art, a take-home roller group and a mini-fridge stocked with ‘hot dog essentials.’
