Tomorrow is the United States’ 250th birthday. A time to celebrate!!
Part of the July 4th tradition is a firework show once the sun has set. They will be held everywhere — large cities, theme parks, and just about every small town in America. When I lived in California a number of years back, I had to drive about 30 miles in the Los Angeles area on July 4th just after sunset. I was treated to 6 firework shows from the freeway — one after the other — making it one of the most memorable drives I’ve ever had in that city.
These firework photos were taken on July 4th a few years back, in the small town of Deer Park, Washington. It was a lovely show that lasted almost a half hour. I plan on seeing the fireworks tomorrow night in the small northern Idaho town near where we now live — I recommend you do the same!
