Gliding over Northumberland

  Ian Cook glides over Northumberland

A series of images that illustrate the sport of Gliding. Taken at The Borders Gliding Club, Northumberland, and over College Valley in the Cheviots, Northumberland.  Some images are taken through an open window vent, which give a clear view of the stunning countryside below.  Others deliberately include reflections and flare from the canopy so as to give a true Pilots eye view.

Roe Deer, Northumberland.

Sat in the hide this guy was wondering what was going on, unperturbed he walked past only 2 metres from me, too close for the big 600mm lens I had bolted onto my camera!
