Charles E. Gagnon Museum and Sculpture Garden is a treasure for any art expert or lover.

Arlyn Gagnon, Charles’ widow, takes guests on a two-and-a-half-hour tour of her home, which serves as the gallery.

As she shows guests the beautiful bronze sculptures throughout her home, Charles’ studio, and the Sculpture Garden, she tells me about their lives in the art world and her husband’s legacy of 50 years of creating bronze sculptures.

In the city, there is a glorious example of Gagnon’s work: the Peace Fountain. “He wanted it to be a symbol of peace, hope, and love,” Arlyn says. “He wanted his art to be uplifting.”
