Frank Gehry’s World of Landmarks

Almost no matter where you travel in the world these days, you are likely to encounter or hear about one of the many distinctive buildings that are, in themselves, a world of landmarks.

Frank Gehry died earlier this month at 95, with voluminous obituary tributes listing his many buildings and his innovative use of curves, of new materials, and of his willingness to break the “rules”—even his own. Not all are to every taste, but none are boring.

Here we share some views from TravelGumbo articles and a few more.
