It was a chilly Saturday morning in Charlottesville, Virginia, and I headed for the Farmers Market at the Ix Art Park.
Located at 522 Second Street SE, dozens of stalls filled with beautiful fruits and vegetables and handcrafted items line up to greet customers every Saturday.
It is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (April through October) and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (November through March). Amenities include food, handicapped accessibility, free admission and parking, child-friendly, and pets welcome.
