Dunvegan Castle, Scotland

Dunvegan Castle is a fortress located on the Isle of Skye, off the west coast of Scotland.  It is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland and is home to clan MacLeod. Over its 800 years, it has expanded and evolved from a stony fortress into a Victorian-era residence.  It first opened to visitors in 1933.

The castle sits on a 5 acre site with a formal garden.  Tours are available.
