Dining in the Sky, which has proven popular in Brussels, is headed for a tour of Portugal, starting with three nights in Lisbon.
The concept, dinner prepared by leading chefs and served to diners seated on a platform suspended from a crane.
In addition to Lisbon, means will be served in Porto, Aveiro and Olhao, with views ranging from riversides to the Algarve coast. Beyond the meal itself, the experience is designed as an event and some locations will include music or other entertainment.
Organizers emphasise that safety comes first. Diners are securely fastened with harnesses, and the platform is thoroughly checked before each lift.
