Sprinkles (also known as Jimmies) may belong on certain glazed donuts and certainly are part of ice-cream rituals.
But on the croissant (glazed!) certainly not. It would be like putting chocolate syrup on a steak. Or, for that matter, a sauce meant for steak on your ice cream.
