P&O’s ferries between Hull, England and Rotterdam are getting a seaborne equivalent of the airlines’ ‘premium economy.’ with a sleep lounge designed to provide more opportunity for rest at less than the cost of a cabin.
The line is offering 36 recliner seats in dim lighting for prices from £47 for foot passengers to £121 for those bringing a car. Customers booking the sleep lounge will have USB charging at the seats, a blanket and a locker.
The ferries also offer restaurants, bars, coffee shops, entertainment and duty-free shopping, as well as private cabins.
