British Airways announced major changes in its Avios loyalty currency, which it shares with Iberia. While it comes dressed up in more guaranteed award seats, and lower off-season redemption prices, the big impact is that passengers in the cheapest seats will now get 25% of the miles flown in points, while those upfront in the high-priced seats will get as much as 300% more than they are getting now.
