Thailand, it turns out, is only third on the list, along with the Philippines, at 11 showers a week. The top slots go to Brazil at 14 and Colombia with 12.
Not surprisingly, the top ranks are dominated by countries in hotter climates—but it’s a real surprise to discover that the average is nearly two a day at the top. Consider the number of people who shower once a day and the number who don’t have access to showers, the conclusion must be that some people have substituted all-day showers for work or sleep.
