Vegas Weddings Experiencing 'The Hangover' Effect

Since 2004, weddings in Vegas are down 37% costing the city 1 billion dollars a year. Movies such as ' The Hangover ' and also some high profile celebrity weddings in Vegas that didn't work out, have tarnished getting married in Vegas. Clark County clerk Lynn Marie Goya told AFP , "One of the misconceptions over the past few years is that people only come here when they are drunk and they get married last-minute, and that's just not true. That makes great movies but that's just not true,"

Vegas is starting a publicity campaign to get the business back and are targeting international visitors.
