Turner in Salem, Mass. Today until Sept 1.

The Peabody Essex Museum (East India Square (161 Essex St) Salem, Massachusetts 01970. 978-745-9500) is presenting a show called 'Turner and the Sea' and I so wish I could see it. For those lucky enough to be in the area, it should be a spectacular one, the largest ever US exhibition of Joseph Mallord William Turner's maritime paintings, more than 100. Full details here.
