In conjunction with the exhibit, the museum and Kilgore Public Library hosted a come-and-go event, "NASA: Ready, Set, Launch," with hands-on activities and an exclusive look at the museum's NASA exhibit. More than 250 parents, grandparents, and children participated in the three-hour event.
