Titanic Lego Titanic debuts at museum

There's a new attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, at the oddly-named Titanic Museum Attraction: A 26-foot scale model of the Titanic, built of 56,000 Lego blocks.

The massive model was built over 11 months by an Icelandic 10-year-old (now 15) who took 11 months in a borrowed storage space to build it. Brynjar Karl Birgisson, who is autistic, worked with his grandfather to create a blueprint for the project.

The finished piece, which has previously toured Norway, Sweden, Germany and Iceland, will be at Pigeon Forge through 2020, showing off its interior lights and 200 Lego passengers.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
