Swiss rail bosses: Stop working from home!

Switzerland's national rail carrier, SBB, has called on the Swiss Federal government to drop its recommendations that whoever can should continue working from home; SBB is upset that not enough passengers are returning to its trains.

Pandemic rules and restrictions are starting to lift in the country, and full train service was restored Monday, but only 50% of the passengers showed up, adding to the railroad's economic distress.

SBB spokesman Martin Meier said “it is in everyone’s interest if public transport is used more - in compliance with the protection concept." SBB says it believes traveling on public transport is safe as long as passengers follow health rules. One problem with that is that Switzerland has never imposed mask rules and few commuters are wearing them.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
