Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona

Who hasn't heard this song and the lyrics "Well, I'm a-standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona and such a fine sight to see. It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford slowin' down to take a look at me."

So on a recent road trip, we had the chance to come into Winslow and check out this little town. I couldn't help singing the song, "Take it Easy", made famous by the Eagles for the rest of the day, lol. I even had to find a YouTube video to listen to it once, lol.

Anyway, on The Corner, you will find a two-story mural, a flatbed truck, and a bronze statue of Glenn Frey standing on the corner with a guitar by his side. We stopped in the store to grab a soda and a couple of snacks then continued on our way. It was cool to see this cute little town on Route 66.
