We often highlight some of the memorable vehicles we encounter during our travels in posts on our website, like the beauties seen in Ottoman's gallery today featuring classic cars from "Cruise Night" in Canada.
Of the many cars I encountered in my travels this year, I think this will be the one I'll remember the longest. A classic Chevrolet Impala (not sure what year -- can anyone help out with that), with more rust on and holes in it than I can remember seeing this side of a junk yard.
The car was parked in the small town of Minturn, Colorado (near Vail), which features a great Farmer's Market during the summer months. We were just leaving the market when we spotted it. I give full credit to the owner for keeping it in functional condition and on the road -- also for the tasteful sense of humor in filling some of its rusty holes with the heads of small stuffed animals!
