Driving past a restaurant near Mödling in Austria, we saw this huge pink vehicle sitting in its almost empty car park. We just had to pull in to take a closer look.
It turned out to be a Cadillac Series 62 from 1960.
Apart from being very pink, it also was very long—as the photo below clearly demonstrates.
I love the enormous tail fins. The next shot shows the inside.
The interior colour scheme suggests to me that the car was probably pink from the outset, but my wife disagrees.

A brief internet search reveals that this model has a massive 6.4l engine. I had to laugh when I saw this line on Wikipedia: "The 1960 Series 62 had smoother, more restrained styling." Looking at images of the 1959 version, I can see the point—but 'restrained' is not a word one would use today to describe this design.
