Singapore's Changi Airport, considered by many the world's best, is getting a whole new terminal extension, called Jewel, that might tempt more than a few travelers to never leave the airport. It's set to open April 17th.
In a giant glass bubble that was once a parking lot, travelers can new find, among other things, the world's largest indoor waterfall, an indoor "forest valley" with 3,000 trees, a 'canopy park' and walking trails. Not to mention a playground and more than 280 shops and restaurants.
Jewel, which is connected to all three existing terminals, will also feature a 130-room pod hotel run by Yotel. Even before it opens, there are expansion plans in the works for more.
